At Sweets & Cream, we take food allergies and intolerances seriously.

Our products include a wide range of sweets, ice cream, desserts, drinks and toppings. Because we stock products from different suppliers and manufacturers, allergen information can vary between individual products and may change when suppliers alter recipes or ingredients.

If you have a food allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement, please contact us before placing your order or consuming a product.

Our team can check the available allergen and ingredient information for the specific product you are interested in. Where necessary, we may also contact the relevant supplier or manufacturer to confirm the information.

Please do not assume that a product is safe because it does not appear to contain a particular allergen. Recipes, ingredients and manufacturing processes can change.

Potential allergens

The 14 allergens recognised under UK food allergen legislation include:

Cereals containing gluten
Crustaceans
Eggs
Fish
Peanuts
Soybeans
Milk
Nuts
Celery
Mustard
Sesame
Sulphur dioxide and sulphites
Lupin
Molluscs

Some of these allergens may be present in our sweets, ice creams, toppings, sauces, desserts, drinks or other products.

Cross-contamination

Although we take reasonable precautions when preparing and serving our products, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Some products may be manufactured, stored or handled in facilities or equipment that also process other allergens. There may therefore be a risk of trace amounts or cross-contamination, even where an allergen is not an intentional ingredient of the product.

This is particularly important for customers with severe or potentially life-threatening allergies.

For products prepared or served by Sweets & Cream, please ask a member of staff for the relevant allergen information.

If we cannot confidently verify the allergen information for a product, we will tell you rather than make an assumption.
